About me
The daughter of an editor, writer, storyteller and artist and granddaughter of a professional photographer. Creativity runs in my family, a taught interest, fostered craft, and open mindset, all offered through childhood. Photography has always sparked a fire for me unlike anything else.

Small story, big picture:
At the age of six, I was living in Sag Harbor, NY. My father encouraged me to enroll in a photography contest among the school district, including high schoolers. I was in first grade my father took me to the five and ten right in the middle of town, on Main Street. He said find your lighting, find your subject, find the angle you want and the idea you want to capture. He handed me the camera. I knelt down on one knee in front of the door into the shop, I pointed the camera up, I saw my perfect photo and I snapped the shot. I won 2nd place in the contest district wide. I will never forget that moment, the passion I started to develop from that very experience.
